Real Sloppy Sloppy Joe 

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef 
1/2 yellow onion, finely chopped 
1 clove garlic, minced 
1/2 cup ketchup 
1/4 cup crushed tomatoes (or tomato sauce) 
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar 
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 
2 teaspoons hot sauce 
Salt and pepper to taste 
4 hamburger buns 

In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, brown the beef with the onion and garlic. Drain excess fat.  Add the ketchup, crushed tomatoes, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.  While the beef mixture is simmering, toast the hamburger buns.
