Taco Pie
sm. can biscuits
1/2 lb. lean ground meat
2 T. green pepper, chopped
2T. onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. tomato paste
1/4 c. water
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 c. mozzarella cheese, shredded
Press biscuits into 9" pie pan forming a continuous crust. Brown beef. Add onion, green pepper, salt and pepper. After meat mixture is cooked, add tomato paste, water, and taco seasoning. Put 1/2 of the meat mixture in unbaked crust. Spread 1/2 cheese on top. Cover with remaining meat mixture and top with remaining cheese. Bake at 400º for about 15 minutes, or until crust is brown. Cut into pieces and serve warm.
